Frank van den Ham is a famed glass artist from the Netherlands. A large portion of his life as a glass artist of increasing popularity was spent in Indonesia. The rich culture of this country served as great inspiration for his glass creations. He also excels as teacher of the methods of kiln-formed glass and continues to conduct workshops all over the world.
A large number of his creations for his publication, “Ubuntu”, as well as the sell-out exhibition in Leerdam, were manufactured by him at the Cape Glass Studio, with which he has close ties. He now resides in South Africa and his new studio in Magaliesburg near Johannesburg also offers training opportunities to the local community.
